    I am sure this topic must have been discussed but I cannot locate the thread. The dealer and factory say change every 3 years or 15k miles and independent service says 5 years.
    Advice?

    I've had mine changed this year at an official dealer/workshop, and they told me "it's now 5 years with these belts"!
    The parts numbers of the belts and tensioners remain unchanged though.

    Bernard,

    it's difficult to say as the cam belts change was part of the 70000km major service. That service cost about 4000 Euros.
    If you just change the belts and tensioners you're unlikely to spend more than 1000 Euros!

    Thanks , my ferrari has just 60,000 kms and I have to change soon the cam belts !

    Make sure they also change the ball bearings for the auxiliary belts tensioners. These only cost 35 euros each and can fail! My alternator belt snapped last year because of a bearing failure, lucky it wasn't the water pump....

    Last year, at 50,000 km, were changed bearings distribution due to a single defective!
