Just also if your going to use sunset from the 405 to PCH, escially in the morning keep it at 35mph and mabey 5 over, LAPD moto cops are in key spots after mandavill cny & sunset, so just be careful.

 

I would love to come on this run, but I think I might have to ride shotgun with someone. The 355 is still in the shop, with no word of when it'll be done.

Guys, as I am new to these drives, does anyone have some sort of a map with the route to be taken from start to finish and, are any other stops (or in-between meeting points) planned along the way between the starting point and the airport? I am asking this because for the start at 9.30 at Pacific Palisades, as I need to first come down from SB (basically from the exact other direction) I'll be on the round going south at least 2 hours before that, so maybe it would just make more sense to catch the group somewhere a bit closer to Camarillo and drive up with every one else from there... just a thought...

...Kevin, I'm going with Christine otherwise would love to have you ride along... I have one of those rare cars with only two seats instead of four (!)... what were they thinking?... What's the final diagnosis on the 355 by the way? Bad news or just a little "cold"?

Drama? Sorry, there is no drama. I'm just asking info on possible alternate meeting points along the way. If this is drama, then clearly I'm missing the point of even bothering to asking a question regarding a group event. Sorry for the drama I guess, gentlemen.

 

If you decide to come down the 101, I can drive the last 22 miles to the VCR with you.

 

Hi Jon, great! I'm trying to get my schedule organized to maybe drive down to LA Friday with the 348 and have my mechanic take care of a couple small things on the car that are worrying me but I have not caught him on the phone. If I go down I'd stay overnight in LA and then jump on the morning drive with the group. If not, we'll figure out a plan. In the midst of all my endless paper trail I think I lost you phone#.
