You do realize how this thread comes across taking the merits of title issues aside, correct? I am extremely dubious of how and why you are trying to get the insurance company to cover your engine rebuild for a dropped valve. It doesn't sound like you want and/are going to divulge any details as to why you are pursuing this route which just adds to the conjecture, but from this thread and your dropped valve thread this all sounds egregiously frivolous to me on the surface of things. Do you feel that is fair to make your insurance company pay for engine rebuild caused by a dropped valve, taking into consideration that costs like these get passed down to the premiums of other insured drivers?
Probably because there is some thought out story that he needs to remain intact.. This scenario stinks.. It stinks bad.. 21 years appraising cars and you can sniff it out every time. Tell us what caused this valve to fail? What did you tell your insurance company? R
