Just noticed today my new 2005 612 has TUBI Any one know What kind of tubi ? And why it’s so quite Do I need to disable the valves ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have no Valves or option for them on my 05 (look just like yours). I also have factory cats and no X over plumbing. I "think" that would become available with a newer ECU later on, but I'm not sure.
I Don’t hear that v12 , just like stock muffler .. it does have nice rumbling when lift ur foot of the gas.. I think it’s basic level of tubi .. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Not sure I have valves too.. In need to double check.. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
There is no valves that comes with the Tubi exhaust system. I think your car is quite because it doesn’t has a straight pipe. Checkout a video of my Tubi exhaust.
I love this sound .. same exhaust But yours come with that gorgeous F1 car high pitch .. I love it Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
612s come OEM with straight pipes and do not need an X-pipe. Have you been wearing headsets or earphones and listening to loud music all your life? Could explain why it sounds quiet to you.
We actually have a few different type of muffler's for the 612 Scaglietti. Depending on which muffler setup you have the sound levels drastically differ. I linked some photos for you to reference. Image Unavailable, Please Login The picture above is probably the exhaust system you have installed currently. This is actually the quietest version which is only a bit louder than the stock exhaust. Image Unavailable, Please Login This is the louder version of the 612 Scaglietti exhaust. We have this available with both Propella style and Regular Tips. No .. lol .. on cold start I hear it loud then it settle to normal exhaust It does not not have that high pitch .. The only thing o notice it’s loud rumble on de acceleration.. I need yo pay more attention.. probably record it .. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
great to have a tubi representative here - i feel like there are always questions about oem exhaust being made by tubi and tubi aftermarket etc. is the middle picture you posted oem?
Thanks for having me! Tubi and Ferrari have a long history together which is why these questions exist. The middle picture is aftermarket it's just the Propella Exhaust Tips that make it look OEM. I attached a picture of the OEM exhaust for the 612 Scaglietti down below. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Terry see .. I’m not crazy . And no headphone.. this make lot of sense Lol!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What are the model or part numbers for the three different options shown? And are they inscribed on the product for reference? I would be curious to note witch version is installed on my car, or others may want to know if they were looking. Thanks in advance.
I found this on their website.. https://catalogue.tubistyle.it/ferrari/612-scaglietti-2004-2011/mufflers.html?dir=asc&order=position Still confusing,, my model number not there .. not sure if USA products different than Italy ones . Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The model number 000036032 is actually a serial number not a model number. If I could see a better shot of the actual exhaust I can tell you which one it is.
They are not inscribed on the actual part. The numbers inscribed on the actual exhausts are serial numbers not part/model numbers.
Pictures for my exhaust ,, hopefully you can tell what model Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
