Alright, so I am going to start another war here, I apologize.

After getting to drive my 2001 360 Spider from Seattle to Bend, OR, I concluded that the aftermarket exhaust I apply does not need to be a hell of a lot louder than stock. I will be doing the high-flow cats as the very first modification, will order later this week.

So my finalists are Capristo Level 2, Novitech and Tubi. Comments on top rpm sound, and any instances of droaning/resonance, would be highly appreciated!

Haha :) Umm... I'll take the Level 5 Actually. That would be two rice-rocket style coffee can mufflers loosely bolted underneath the rear of the car... with DTM upward-slanting tips.

I've heard Larini's sound good, but are very poorly made and often require "customizing" to make fit. Never met or read of anyone who has one of these systems.

If you go Tubi, check out the NGT...those who own 'em, love 'em!!!!

If you go Capristo stage-2, you may as well get the Twin system....it's a stage-2 with bypass valves that'll let you open the valves if you want...otherwise it's a stage-2. More versatility, beautiful system and Cig1 may still talk to you. :)

Novitech, only heard good things about them from both owners and those who've heard them. Big money though.

You still may want to check out X-Ost, I recall at least 2 other 360 owners recently getting these systems and raving about them!!! The build quality, sound, price and value is pretty much the winner.

I'd wait till you see how those high-flow cats change your sound, doing that alone may take you where you wanna be? Please let us know.

Good idea Steve. For the same money as the Novitech, I can get an exhaust that will cater to all occasions... and not having G snicker as I drive past is always a plus!

    Mike,

Best of luck either way you go. One thing for sure, when you get it all dialed-in you've gotta head up here for a **********: I'm gonna buy you a drink! ;)

Shouldn't be too much longer. Car will be here tomorrow hopefully. Just sold some mutual funds in preperation for the Larini cats and the Exhaust... I think they are a much better investment than an asset that appreciates in the double-digits. ;)
