Having heard Mike's 360, I can say it's a MEAN sound. Need to hear it side by side with Norm's CG to compare. --Dan
Andrew, You are right in a BIG way. My mechanic buddy Mario was over this morning and I fired up the 360/Capristo. He exclaimed "Holy Fu#&!!! Now Mario has been wrenching on F cars for 23 years and has done and seen it all. Even he was amazed. GOT to hear the sound! Russ
Dan, Did you hear my car at WOT, or did you just hear it at low RPM's near Bentley of LG? The real music is above 5k rpm. -- Michael
Both the F355 and 360 with Capristo are in the exhaust contest at my site. You can download videos and compare them to standard 360's. Please don't forget to vote for your winner! www.ferrari-f355.tk With thanks to Heiko for recording.
JAMES! AH HA! neither will result in a power difference, especially compared to each other. Sound is a personal thing. I still think that Norm's CG sounds hot, but I like Mike's Capristo as well. The key is to hear them side by side... --Dan
hi Cargraphics is Fuchs and they are good but the best sounding exhaust on the 360 is the capristo Heiko HGParts Sponsor of FerrariChat email: [email protected] Webshop: http://stores.andale.com/hgparts

Now why would you do this the Stradale has the G-string of exhausts; the canister is even smaller than the Tubi (see picture) I have not heard the Capristo in real life but note that the Tubi below 5K rpm is louder than the Stradale exhaust, i.e. the Tubi has a much lower frequency spectrum, which is usually perceived as louder - the Stradale "screams" My car is not broken in so I dont know what is does above 5K rpm but I doubt that I will be eager to add a louder exhausts
I had a close look at the Stradale exhaust recently at the dealer. I think the Capristo is much, much prettier in its place. The second part of my post was about the aftermarket ECU's. Heiko have shown that they, along with the test pipes and Capristo, produced 448HP on a standard 360. I was curious to see how much power will be produced if a similar setup was installed in the CS (425HP stock).
YOWZA BABY, YOWZA!!! I can see it now, cats breeding with dogs, 360s flying off into the trees. Capristo and ECUs on a STRADALE??? Back up Dude, that sucka's gonna blow! Let's volunteer Thomas_b's new CS for the test. What say Thomas?
I agree with you in the looks department funny thing is that the Stradale manual claims 409HP (SAE) ?!? I doubt that it is a good idea to plug the Modena ECUs into the Stradale they have modified a significant number of things from how the car performs at low revs I believe it much more drivable - I personally would expect an optimized a/f map
Oops, almost forgot. Willis, Tracey and I got the beast up to 160 with the top down on the bridge last night. Ran out of road before I ran out of gas pedal. Need to find a longer road. Maybe in SEATTLE? HA!!! Russ
Russ!! - she is with 100miles as close to a virgin as you can get give her some time will ya - thomas
Thomas, 409?! What about the weight? Is the U.S. version heavier? Also, I think Heiko or some other company will likely come up with a set of ECU's specifically for the Stradale. Russ, That must have been quite a blast with the top down! We have a lot of challenging twisties to go along with the straights.
