    Hi,
Sorry again for so many questions, I am new to carbon brakes, never had on any car. I understand that they sort of "chunk" out when they get worn rather than get slimmer like steel brakes. Here is how mine looks, can one tell how worn it is by this?
Roselli who did the PPI in Palo Alto said they are like new, but I am seeing quite a few "dips" in the surface. Is it normal?
    Many thanks all!

Found this video very interesting... especially half way through where he starts talking about testing and how difficult it really is to find someone who actually has the correct equipment to test them.

"Looking good" is not really an accurate way of assessing serviceability.

Those discs are very good. Minimal wear for CCM - less than 20%.

I have some 98% worn discs in my workshop - I will take a photo tomorrow.

The only way is to weight them ..but based on some i have seen including my own they look very good (not abused)

The video mentions the shortcomings of weighing, Dominick ;)

Porsche carbon ceramic discs had a different pattern that could be seen when they hit the wear level. Other than that I think thickness measurement?
