    My carpets are pristine throughout, except a small wear spot at the edge of the left-foot rest, where I often catch the left edge of my shoe as I move it from the rest to the clutch. I think this is a common problem even with other cars than my 308. Does anyone have a solution, such as a metal protector or something that can be placed over this spot?
