    Sometimes it comes on as soon as I start the car and today on some fast back roads it came on. I also get "Engine control system failure- go to dealer" and the check engine light is on. The car runs perfectly and I changed the battery recently and this started after that. Any ideas?

    Battery is always first but can rule that out. I kept getting that message and after several trips to the dealer they were about to replace my fuel pump when Ferrari told them to try a software update which fixed it.

    Could also be a loose sensor or bad wire from the sensor.

    any info as of which software update was performed?

    I have the same issue. only it comes with a P1566 code (which is manufacturer specific and i cant seem to find its description nowhere) and P0300,P0301,P0302 and P0304 wich are multiple missfires on cyl 1-4. Dealership is not very helpfull here in Puerto Rico...
