So how much less is a 348 worth when comparing it with the 355 assuming: Both cars are street legal, track ready and road ready, known documented history ?
Here in the area I know well SoCal 348's are in high demand for collectors along with 95-355's. The 348 prices are very close to the 355 and raising. I would not be surprised to see them equal or pass. Things going for them in collectors eyes They are the first challenge car that started it all. 100% street legal in all of US Very low number made Historic Car that is a must for every collection
I can understand this. If I were to add a Challenge car to complement my 95 355 Ch, I'd look for a 348TS Ch. Though key words are "if" and "add" not "replace". Besides, I have other race cars that are on the list before a 348 TS Ch; this would ultimately limit what I would pay for a 348 Ch.
I understand !!! Current have a bug up my arse for a old Chaparral car. Even if I have to build it myself. I love old race cars.
Cool shots! That's my car on the right side of the grid, 4-5 rows back- the grigio car with Italian striping on the top and side strakes (#98791).
As Andy has posted, here are (think so) all Challenge and GT Ferraris posted for sale: Ferrari Challenge and GT Cars
On my list are two old race cars in the same vintage as Chaparrals. One is plausible, the other highly unlikely unless I build a replica which wouldn't be the same. Back on topic, is there a 348 Ch registry that exists?
At the moment there is no register for 348, 355 or 360 CHs existing. But, someone is working on it

Any predictions for 2016 as to where Challenge car prices will go? I know they may follow the general trend up or down but being a niche car it may perform differently. Let's get some predictions.
348 up 355 up 360 is still a mystery to me. Universal Autosport for example have several 360 challenge cars for sale, around 70k, while a 360 challenge stradale went for more than 240k. The stradale is road legal but on track the challenge car would be faster. So the price gap is just being based on the road legality of the stradale.
I would say 348-355 up 360 holding 430 holding to up 458 down This is based on what folks in my area are after. Some very aggressive collectors after 348-355's. I understand in Europe prices are high, US buyers are catching the trend. Who knows how high. If I get an offer thats good for me I will sell all 3 of them.
I think here is the answer to the question about F355 Challenge Prices: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/challenge-gt-cars/509603-street-legal-1996-ferrari-f355-challenge-sale-artcurial-auction-paris.html Great Car, we will see where it ends. Image Unavailable, Please Login
