Frankly and IMHO when I see how many 355CH are and have been for sale recently, I think it cannot be true that production was limited to 109 cars or so. There must have been many more 355CH cars produced. This is deeply intriging to me.
That is the number first published by Cavallino magazine and then repeated and taken as gospel. It's wrong, there where at least 260 F355 Challenge cars, it's been discussed here aa number of times M
I agree. Very intriguing. When we bought our car, I really wanted to know how many raced in the series. What was the REAL deal?. Over 300 that raced have been identified through research. Anyone claiming 109 is really just trying to hype that which doesn't need hyping.... . The cars can stand on their own 2 feet on the real production numbers. The cars and history of each is fantastic. Original challenge car owners are a who's who list of most successful businessmen and women. All of these 300+ were sponsored and maintained by the authorized dealer teams. Robb
