Does anyone know the exact colors (pantone or paint or vinyl) and stripe widths for the Ferrari Challenge Stradale OEM stripe? I’m having some vinyl ones made, but don’t have access to an original. Thanks very much.

Pretty sure there are companies that sell them, probably cheaper and easier than making your own?

Thanks mchas. As I live in NZ, nothing is available locally so the stripes would have to be imported, taxes and duties paid. It’s far simpler, and significantly more cost effective, to have my car graphics expert make some up for me. They’ll be perfect, he’s exemplary. I just need to know the colors and dimensions- which I’m sure someone out there must know .

Ah, makes more sense now, didn’t see your location. I have visited NZ and loved it, it is the most beautiful country I have ever seen! Sorry can’t help with measurements of the stripe but I am sure someone else here can.

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but I’ve been wondering whether the repos one can find on eBay will fade color wise compared to original?

Also; Are the repos thicker than original?

    Anyone know?

The original is a pigment impregnated sticker (for want of a better word) that is protected with clear-coats when originally applied. Modern day printed reproductions of the same are known to fade under certain conditions. The original is available from Ferrari but is really designed to have a clear coat over top- not a straightforward procedure without involving a paint shop. Modern vinyl adhesive films are colourfast and glossy and incredibly thin- and straightforward to remove or repair if required. A pretty strong argument for a modern vinyl alternative.

If I can get information on the dimensions and colours I’ll certainly post the final result!

    Thanks’

Yup - knew about the clear coat on the CS’s... I’m actually contemplating going the clear coat way, you see. Want to be able to polish the car properly every once in a while.
Reason for asking is that I got a set of repo stripes along a purchase of CS 19” rims... But I don’t want to use it if they fade.

Thank you Randy6005, much appreciated. They look great on your car. Are they factory stripes with clear coat?

Use a clear bra over the stripe and that way you don’t paint the car. You can always remove it later if you don’t like it anymore.
