Anyone here collect coins?
I did for a while specializing in half dollar coins. I got bored with it but am starting again specializing in dollar coins.

Marcel, Wow! Guess you like coins too What is the 5 bill? Is that an old territorial note? I'll post some pics tomorrow. I don't have many icanfly, I like Walkers Been buying some Morgans too. You still got all your halves? RHD, I'll ask a friend of mine. He's a stamp nut.
I have 1 or 2 Morgan's, if by halves you meen 50 cent's yes i have them.. those big bills are polish from 1912 and some from 1940's... Im sure you will have something crazy in store for you tomorrow (RoWis) has a pretty huge collection..
only coins i ve collected were those new dollar coins , the mistake coins with no writing on the rims. have a bunch of them.
Are they from the US? My friend said this: "Hi Randy; I do not know anything about an honors stamp. The only stamp issued by the U.S. Postal service in 1919 was the Victory Issue to commemorate the end of WW1." -- Here are most of my coins. Nothing too crazy. The 1909 VDB is nice, as is the Morgan with "toning". The Morgan error has been cleaned I believe. Last time I buy coins from that guy. The Washington error has a "D" stamped on his chin. I'm going to send it in for grading and sell it on evilbay while these errors are still selling. Who knows what'll happen 20 years from now I have 3 more mercury dimes on the way and one of those "Westward Journey" sets with all the coins from both mints. I also ordered 4 proofs of the new gold dollars to put in the "Presidential collection" case. I'm gonna fill it with proofs I have no idea what that Mexican coin is that's out of the holder. If anyone knows, fill me in. What's strange is it says "$2" on it, but it appears to be a Mexican coin. I'm gonna buy more errors, walking liberties, CC's and Morgans. Just getting ramped up Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Used to as a kid. I know some people who are HARDCORE as collectors...I mean people who won't blush at spending $40k - $50k on a single coin. Pretty serious business. NGC just paid $13m for a building here in town...it's set up like Fort Knox...big money in that hobby. It's amazing. RMX
Yeah there is! http://coins.ha.com/common/info/press/default.php?ReleaseID=1398&ic=rightcolumn-1907HR-090707 I like NGC. Got any pictures of the new building?
its good to collect them because you can keep them for years and then sell them in the future for good money..

E-mail the address on this page, they can probably help you. Middle of the 2nd paragraph: http://westernarchives.lib.muohio.edu/home.php Seems it was an Ohio thing, not a regular stamp. RoWis, Nice collection! What all is in the binder?

A German Mark from the year...1906 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
To purchase an entry-level hi quality certified U.S. museum piece, you are looking at approx 30K+. The really rare hi quality material, brings a lot more money than that.
Those aren't worth much, I have seen pictures of people using those old German marks to start a fire.
