Hi, I'm aware that the yellow calipers do not match the Scuderia shields but can anyone confirm if the yellow centre caps match the yellow of the shields?

The yellow calipers, SF shields and wheel center caps all match on my 2018 488.

I took a closer look and found that the center caps and shields are a slightly lighter shade, but neither myself nor anyone that’s ever seen the car, or it’s identically colored predecessor ever noticed. I’d say it’s a total non-issue. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just an FYI, but the yellow center caps do not match the yellow calipers, nor the yellow shields, nor the yellow center cap in the steering wheel.
All those yellow parts, of different materials and slightly different colors. Close but no cigar.
It gets really interesting when you have a yellow car
    Deal with it.

Yep, didn't notice until someone pointed it out to me, and I squinted really hard staring at the shields and caps. The only reasonable solution is to spend more time driving and less time staring @ it - can't see it from the driver's seat, and a couple of trips up and down the RPM range, you won't care! ;)

OMG and you guys think I'm cruel! :)

Actually, its not a bad question. But the real question should be "do they look good together". I think most would say "yes".

And i'm not sure I would have labeled it a 'color clash'........more of a slight mismatch.

Don't know for sure but wasn't the yellow background color in the SF Shield a "canary yellow" that was a color match of some historical Modena document?
Yellow is the official color of Modena and Enzo added it to the Cavallino's background when he first adopted the logo from Count Baracca's plane.

Later, some of the Dino cars were painted FLY Yellow (Giallo FLY). Supposedly named after a company called Studio FLY in Italy.

And that got replaced with Giallo Modena which is not the same as the original Canary Yellow used in the shield.

Anyone know more about the history of Ferrari yellow colors?

You're right about yellow being the color of Modena, and why Enzo used yellow for the background of the SF shield. Having owned 3 yellow Ferrari's it's one of the top color choices for a new Ferrari.

It's a good job the OP doesn't own a 348 - The prancing horses on the speedometer and rev counter sit at the wrong angle!

For the price of a 458 or a 488 all three yellows should absolutely match.

I went for silver callipers on my 488 GTB along with the standard silver wheels. In my opinion I like the std wheel better as its a 5 spoke design and I didn't want the a red or yellow calliper. Ild rather the car colour pop out .
Question is does Ferrari have different colour center caps that are OEM like silver ?
Searched but ones on Ebay say yes OEM but no part number with them
