Correct Bertone Badge for 308 GT4

Annoying, indeed! But FWIW, my GT4 has the badge on the left....

 

I think mine is on the passanger side? Crap, I can't remember now? Didn't they switch from one side to the other from the series 1 & 2? I'll have to look when I get home now!

If I'm not mistaken a series 1 should be on the right side, I don't know if there was a switch on series 2 cars.

 

Where can I find the correct placement of the "disegno Bertone" badge? How far from the body line to the top of the badge? How far behind the door seam is the edge of the badge (fore / aft)?

(P.S. all of the pictures that I am finding show the "deisegno" as silver letters on a black background, and the "BERTONE" as black letters on a silver background.)

Does someone have a photo of an actual badge as it came from the factory? The one in the original post (above) seems like it is the opposite of the silver/black arrangement I described in the prior paragraph.

I'd be surprised if there were any NOS "disegno BERTONE" badges around. How accurate are the reproductions?

 

Superformance’s web site has three Bertone badges for GT4......all different.

 

For all of the talk I hear of Superformance, they have let me down 2 out of 2 orders.
