1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversario for sale #1727933 | Hemmings Motor News Image Unavailable, Please Login
dear all, I am thinking about purchasing a 25 anniversario - I have found one not far from where I live and on paper it looks great. however, being a very expensive car, I want to be sure that what I am buying is in good order and will not have me going to the mechanic too often (like the Diablo I have..). what would you say are the key things to look out for on an Anniversario? What specifically should I check on the engine and transmission? I will also be able to lift the car and have a look underneath... any help would be much appreciated!! great forum guys
You are looking to purchase a high end exotic, do yourself a favor and get a PPI from a Lambo mechanic that has worked specifically on Countachs. What are the miles and asking price? I would post the car if it is advertised and see if anyone knows it's history. If its a private sale I could understand you not disclosing info.
for the time being i just know the VIN 12683, the car is French and had one owner which did very little milage..now, that still remains to be seen if its genuine. anybody knows anything about this car? thanks
Hello cesto23 If you are seriously in market for a 25 anniversario I would highly recommend that you look at 12478 posted right here. This car was a very good friend of mine, I personally stored this car for him right here at my house right next to my countach. I personally know Rob and Dave (the owners) and they are some very stand up guys and will not bs you in anyway and are very trustworthy. The car is Super clean inside out . The Tractor is just over the top an something you just don't see around.. PM if I can be of any further help- Bobby Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Cesto, I have to agree with with Aviatorbobby. I am collector of these cars as well as some vintage Ferrari's and I know this Countach and it's owner personally. Great car and great seller. Rob is a great guy whom I have know for many years, and both his Countach and tractor are killer (Rob is the kind of guy that goes over the top on all his pride possessions). I would pull the trigger and tell you that you are in excellent hands...good people! Good luck Cesto and welcome to our addiction (classic exotics). Best Artie IAG
I can cosign this, Rob is as stand up a guy as ive met in the exotic car community, hes exactly the kind of guy people talk about when they say "buy the seller". Sent from my KFSOWI using Tapatalk
Thank you Bobby, Im off to see a third Anniversario this week end..so far I have not been satisfied with what I have seen out in the market. Hopefully I will find the right one very soon. Your friends car looks great, however I am after the european/carburettor version.
An ad for a carb popped up on Hemming's the other day. Could be sold, sometimes old ads pop up on Hemming's and the car is long gone. Don't know anything about the car or seller. 1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversario for sale #1723833 | Hemmings Motor News Googled the phone number and found another ad with a much better price. http://used-cars-from-usa.com/lamborghini/52290

good afternoon all! i am looking for an indoor car cover for the anniversario...any ideas where to find one? possibly in europe... thanks for the help!
Apologize if this has been asked and answered already, but I did a quick search and couldn't find the details: Does anyone know the production numbers of downdraft vs FI Annis?
I'm not in a place where I can check and be definitive, but IIRC there are @ 200 FI cars and @ 450 DD cars.
