Mighty tight fit for those tires.

It looks like they are nearly touching now.

I'm quite sure this car runs like a Fiero Replicar with those huge tires and ridicolous wing...

    Joe,

Un seal this document...the Wolf style with side plate is a aftermarket add on...NOT FACTORY so that one should not go in the book.

"Constructed in 1987, the Evo was a mobile test bed for evaluating the advanced technology emanating from the Lamborghini composites department (then under the control of one Horacio Pagani). It featured a carbon fibre tub and traditional sub-frames from which the engine and suspension were hung. A QV motor was de-restricted to 7500rpm (where the standard model was limited to 7000rpm) and with a few other mild tweaks, produced around 490bhp. Alterations to the body included carbon fibre opening panels (except for the doors), a restyled front spoiler, aerodynamic wheel discs, vented side skirts and wheel arch extensions (all carbon fibre). The interior meanwhile was completely bereft of any series production car luxuries. Weighing in at some 500kg less than the standard QV thanks to the many weight saving devices employed in its design, it was able to sprint to 60mph in under 4 seconds and go on to reach over 205mph. Final tests carried out on the Evoluzione necessitated it be crash tested and thus, like the original LP500, the fastest Countach of all was completely destroyed"

Interesting exercise of style. Like someone else said, the anniv is the best CT to try this on. There are so many of them and the chrysler styling can hardly be degraded with any kind of modifications no matter how far out.
The only thing to save there are all the QV DD engine as spares for the true pre anniv QVs and the A/C controls for further improvments.
Love to see that car close up. May be there is 1 or 2 things to pick up on.

were all countach factory wing alluminium?
do you know if factory ever made fiberglass wings?

BTW: all wings were put on production cars by dealers, customers, ecc..i have been told by factory employers they were not road omologated and so lamborghini didn't ever put them on in S.Agata (well, never is a strong word in lamborghini history....we could say hardly ;) )

the factory wing was always aluminium and indeed not road homologated.
