I like the roundish shape of the Wolf's countachs wheelarch. IMHO they look better than the squarish wheelarch of the factory Countach S. Joe, how many LP400 was made with the Wolf-look spats ? I knwo there are a couple (including the famous blue Haiti car)
nice pics Joe, many tks p.s. there are an urraco and a later countach beside the gray lp in the garage, isn'it?
Nice black LP 400! Its a mean machine! We will never see anything again like the Countach!! What a car! Ciao! Walter
Yeah. Horny.... Visual intercourse. I think I need a cigarette.... and I dont even smoke!! Joe www.lamborghiniregistry.com
Indeed, apart from the obvious mean & sinister quality of a black LP400, the dark color gives the car's lines a stealthy quality and diminishes its size somewhat. It exudes a fearsome aura, and makes you want to take a step or two back in reverance.....somebody stop me, Im waxing lyrical far to long!!! Joe
Greg, We have a spot reserved for your beautiful silver Countach.... Meanwhile, more images to enjoy. Joe www.lamborghiniregistry.com Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks Joe, I'll tell you what, If Roy is passing through Portland with his hauler full of Lamborghinis on route to the reunion, I'd gladly send 1121116 down with him, if he had an extra slot. Who and what Countachs are committed to show as of today? Thanks, Greg
Id have to get with Jim Heady to see who is coming. Still VERY early days yet. Whilst noting that saying "Im coming", and actually coming are 2 seperate things, at least 20 Countach owners have told me of their interest....oh, wait a minute, make it 21, Ill bring one too, if it doesnt crash or catch fire in the interim Frankly, I think most owners would like to come - it all boils down to logistics and advanced planning. As Ive said before, the usual showing of 3 - 6 Countachs at Concorso might be surpassed... Joe Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe, I have been trying to make plans on bringing my Countach with Jim Heady. I wanted to get details and hotel info from him. I have sent him quite a few emails since I heard about this and have not gotten a responce. You know with Monterey you have to plan way ahead. This is not the first time though. A few years ago I also tried to contact him numerous times about bringing my other Lambo. I never heard anything until the week before the event and that was to late obviously. I was excited about bringing the Countach but now I have gotten a little discouraged. Jim is a nice guy and everything, but are they just poor at communicating with Lambo members?
LOL! Welcome to the Lamborghini Club establishment... Seriously though, he means well but his construction business means the cars are not top priority. Here is what you do: For the car - go to www.concorso.com and simply register the car as a Countach attending Concorso. Then, you can also call them on (425) 745 0632 and they will give you the hotel low-down and contacts, book one, and youre done! Granted there is some effort here, especially with the hotels, but get cracking now and youll be fine. Remember too, Heady and I have not fine-tuned the details of the Countach Reunion with Concorso, but with interest the way it is showing, we will have that squared away by January '07. Steve, the bottom line is, your Countach is as important and as anticipated as any other car that will attend and we want to see it there. If you have ANY problems, PM me and I will help you myself. PS - Ive been contacted by a lady Countach owner (quite rare for such a 'focused' car) who says her Countach is "easy" to drive. What does that say about whiny guys who complain about stiff controls etc...eh? LOL! Joe www.lamborghiniregistry.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is this the nice LP 400 from France that now resides proppably in Sweden?? Great color! So, my preferences in LP 400-colors are 1. This "french" blue-green 2. Silver 3. Blue 4. White 5. Green (from the prototype!) Ciao! Walter
Thanks Joe!!! Hope everyone realizes what a great enthusiast and asset you are to the Lambo community. ps- Keep those great pix coming
Yes Walter, it is the first Countach delivered to France. I like all the colors on the Countach because its such a radical angular-shaped body that it can handle any color well! Joe
Youre too kind by half... At the end of the day, its the owners who make these events happen. If we didnt spend the time and resources to share our cars the events wouldnt happen. So the THANKS should go to those who will be making the effort to bring and share their car. Remember, to register a car, simply go to www.concorso.com They carefully compile all the entries, so by next spring we will know how we are doing. As Ive said, more than 3 cars is a Countach party! We will detail a photoshoot for posterity, and of course, the obligatory driving tour... Best, Joe
wow Joe! thats my picture of the white qv, i feel privaleged to see you using one of my shots as i've seen you post so many gorgeous shots! thanks
Hi Steve, Concorso is pretty simple -- you pay $75 for early registration and you're done. Just show up -- the $75 includes a passenger. You don't have to belong to any club or anything, everybody's welcome. The Lambo folks stay at the Mariposa Inn: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mariposa+inn+monterey There are a ton of hotels in the area if you can't get in there. Just book early to make sure. See you at Concorso! Fred
