This is the most intelligent comparo between the 2 cars I am aware of. CAR, April 1986. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nope. Her name is Angela B, and she is fairly slight and slim in build, and drives the car with the seat all the way forward (LP500S). She has owned the car in California almost since new (1984) and I believe she still has it, although she probably drives her Rolls Corniche more often these days.
Joe, do you know if that is when this Testarossa was wrecked. I know that particular car was in an accident right after that publication and poster.
Doesn't count, hello! Their specialty low production cars are not akin to the Maranello which replaced the Testarossa as the flagship Ferrari. I am sure you knew what I meant.
No I thought what you meant was: "Ferrari has never produced a 12 cylinder mid engined car since". But I understand.
That's a good thing. Some have spoken of how many Testarossas were produced. I think these guys have something to do with how many were sold in North America alone. But perhaps they were in the wrong car? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Or perhaps they couldn't find a Countach owner willing to sell them a car to do this with? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Call it a hunch, but FNA insisted. Watch closely as the replica chases not one, but two different Countachs. Hint: Rear bumper. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU964Wtmkkc
I wouldn't bother. As you can see, the attitude here in LamborghiniChat will never change. Ferrari's response to the Countach was the BB, not the Testarossa. Many would disagree with you on the Testarossa not being an iconic car.
Yes. The extremely odd thing (to me) is that I ride a YamahaR1 and its top speed is exactly the same @ 183MPH. All this was from my "testing" 10+ years ago.... -mick
But in every way that counted when it was my money! Both are great, and anyone that owns one of them is lucky. Just a preference.
True, i had a poster of both and seriously if i had to pick one i do not think i could, the Countach for looks wins hands down easily but for the driving envolment well IMO that would go to the TR, the best solution to this argument is to buy both a Countach and a TR problem solved
