    Hi guys...

    Just a thought...

What do you do when your crackle finished parts have had it ? I understand the proper paint is expensive except the aerosol stuff which isn't up to the job where there is heat involved and that you can't get the red in aerosol form anyway.

    Thoughts ?

    Cheers.

I just paint it again with wrinkle finish black. You are right though, the aerosol black paint is not durable enough, you can bake it and it is stronger, but still not durable enough. Eastwood wrinkle paint is what I use.

had 2 valve covers media blasted, then crinkle powder coated.

Contact Karl at Verdi'd. He has repainted these items so will know of any better value options.
