I think he's looking in the car in the last picture to find his gun.
"Gee I wonder where that gun is I usually carry, and if I can get at it fast enough to blow my brains out?"

    Or he's possibly thinking:
"The enormity of this disaster has not yet completely been absorbed.
I wonder when it will be, and when the onset of my depression will begin?"

I still don't get the location. He's on the other side of the fence of the track, so they must have taken the pics after the car was lifted over. But why would they lift it onto this side of the fence, it seems it's harder to get to by the tow truck, but I guess that's what they did.

This scenario would explain the dirt allover the car. If he hit Hay it wouldn’t be so dirty. If you look close he spun off the track, hit a few dirt rises (cheaper way to slow cars exiting the track) taking out his front and under carriage, stopping against the fence.

I see. I thought he rolled, but perhaps this damage was done like you said.

Anyone know which track this is?

"What do you mean insurance doesn't cover damage resulting from track accidents?"

Sucks to be him; the repair costs are going to be out of pocket.

Ferrari of Bevery Hills had an event for customers to introduce the new 360 Modena. The event was held at Willow Springs International Raceway and owners were invited to run their own cars on the track, while seeing the new 360, as well as an ex-Eddie Irvine F1 car and a 333 SP.

The owner of the F50 went wide on the outside of the exit at turn one, shot across the track and kept going and going and going and going until finally hitting the 4-5 foot high dirt berm at the end of the track area. From there it smashed into bits, flew over the berm and finally stopped when it hit the chain-link fence around the kart track.

Thats what happened as per a very credible whitness.
