Well we have a few people coming from out of town this weekend and it seems like there is more interest in going than I anticipated. Who else wants to go? Should we organize a group to meet at the Coffee Bean again or should we all just meet at the show?
Sounds like a good idea since we have some new people to say hi to. I have no idea how the turnout will be due to the holidays, but I will give it a shot - Just got my car back an hour ago.
I think I will make it as well. My parents are here, and I think my dad might enjoy it. Also, one of my cousins is here from Italy, and she said she would like to see the cars also. Dom
My wife and I will go straight to Crystal Cove SC ... we want a good parking spot, to be amoung all the F-cars! Don't know if it is possible to save any spots ... I guess someone tried before, with no success. See you all in the morning!
Sorry Jordan & Jet, I would of liked to meet you guys.. I spent Friday afternoon detailing the car for the cove and I made it about 5 miles and got stuck on the side of the road Saturday morning..! I snapped the throttle Cable right at the adjustment screw..!! Oh I was so damm mad (and cold).. Fortunately, I had some zip-ties in my tool-kit and was able to avoid calling AAA and limp back home gently. It was my fault, the only thing the previous owner mentioned was the throttle cable was frayed (two lousy strands) and should be replaced at the next service. Who would of thought it would break the remaining strands so quickly. Ahh... at least I got back. SO.. since my service manuals are not on yet, does anyone have the Part Number for the cable? Fastest Supplier? It should be a straight forward replacement from what I can tell. Any suggestions? Oh well, next Saturday I will try again.. Patrick
Ahhh bummer - Sorry to hear about that - I was looking for a 328 all day! Try the following places for the cable : http://www.owners.ferrari.com/ http://www.trutlands.com/ (not the best web site - best to call them) Best of luck on the repair - Hope to cya next time! Do you do your repairs yourself, or do you have a local Ferrari mechanic?
Really sorry to hear that Patrick! Im glad you made it home safely though! If everything is ok for next week your more than welcome to stop by!
