Have had the 7002 for approx. 4 yrs. I used it to replace what I call the substandard factory unit that came on my 2015. Call it substandard as it had problems maintaining full charge if the car was on it for 7+days. Switched to the 7002 unit & no more cells with a battery that is now 5ys. old. I know everyone says replace the battery at 4, but have had no issues, put about 40-50 miles/wk. 7002 is a great unit!

Just a fyi, you can build your own plug with parts from RS components or other electrical supply place. I purchased mine from them. It ends up costing a couple bucks. Like maybe $3 or 4 dollars without the ctek extension plug which I just bought and then attached the plug too

Check out here for how :

From Kumari : The connector is made by Burndy (now part of Souriau) but finding exactly which one of the thousands of connectors that they make took a fair bit of time -- eventually found that it is part of the BANTAMATE II 5000 series, MBG4R1 for the female and MBG4P1 for the male. It uses the Souriau "Trim-Trio" contacts.
