Daily driven Murci has 250K miles!

Great to see it up and running again.

 

Yea, Audi's run great.

Happy to see someone enjoying it as it was meant to be.

 

Would love to know what it has cost him to run it that many miles and what's been done to keep it healthy?

 

250K out of an Audi? Name one original part other than the seats... You can't.

 

The Murci V12 is not Audi, it's the original Bizzarini V12 design from 1963.
Gallardo/Huracan Engines are Audi engines used in A3-A8 and R8 in V6-V10 incarnations.

No a3 had a v10. No gallardo/hurricane had v6 or v8. Not sure why you'd include those motors in the discussion.

 

Obviously you have no clue about Audi's engine program, from the base engine V2-Cylindre they made dozens of derivates from V6-V10 which are widely used in their models.
Nobody wrote that Audi used a V6 in a R8 or a A3 had ever a V10 engine.

Lambo's V12 is still a derivate of the original design from 1963, not an Audi engine like somebody wrote.
The V10 is a pure Audi engine and has the same troubles with the direct injection.

 

There's a lot of information about this car. The owner was an editor for EVO magazine and has articles of what maintenance, repairs and upgrades it's required over the years. If I recall properly, it has something like 50k miles of track use.
