I haven't quite gotten bored with the Lotus yet and the Z will never go...not that I put more than 1,000 miles on it a year anymore, it's all sentimental value to me.

Yes, I'm an analyst...but I also own my own business too, have since I was 23 which is also when I bought my Lotus. You're right, I don't make millions of $ a year but I really don't care. Actually, I already have my degree. Some of the wealthiest people I know don't have theirs though. But one thing in common is that they all work hard seven days a week at the businesses they own. Maybe you've got money and maybe you don't. Just the way you present yourself leads me to believe that you do not. But I guess I could be confusing money for class.

You know, having grown up around well off/wealthy people (my dad was a doctor), I've found that most people that have money don't brag about it.

I'll admit I do sound arrogant. That's because i'm butting heads with some of the most arrogant people on any car forums. I've lived around rich people myself also. Not all of them hide what they really have. It depends on the person so you can't really say people who have money don't brag. Lol look at celebrities or people on this forum who own ferraris. You think owning a ferrari isn't one form of bragging? Either bragging your successful or your rich. Owning a ferrari is a sign of either the two.

Not everyone thinks like that. Most of the people here have a passion for cars. They love ferraris. They don't love what people think a ferrari says about them. They love the joy of driving a ferrari. You need to check yourself. Do you want a ferrari because you think people will look at you and say, "hey, he is rich"? Why are you even on this board? You have not contributed to any other thread or section. If you are not here for cars, then I suggest you leave. The common bond between people here is their passion for ferraris and other cars.

 

yea of course man! I'm playing with free shares anyways. the price right now is temporary. i'm thinking of buying more tomorrow at these prices. i originally got in at .14. remember you only loose when you sell.

 

trust me i have a passion for cars. doesn't my past ownership of certain cars suggest to you that? Correct me if i'm not mistaken but in this forum you guys discuss other things besides cars including business and certainly the stock market. Yes the passion for ferraris is there but if you think about there are other cars on the road less expensive that perform or out perform a ferrari. The feeling might be different, but does that warrant the extra 100k premiums these cars sometimes go for? People buy ferraris, because it's the best of the best and because they have the money to buy it period. Your successful when you buy a ferrari. I don't see broke people driving ferraris. It all depends on your def. of bragging. like i said it's all a matter of opinion.

Not only rich people have ferraris. I know some people that are middle class, yet they drive a ferrari. You still aren't getting the point. People here don't give a crap about which car is faster. A ferrari is a ferrari. People here don't give a crap about how much money you have. The thing is, no matter how much you boast about how much money you have in stock, there is always somoene who has more than you. That person could even burn the amount of your net worth and not think twice. How money anyone has doesn't mean anything. Money doesn't equal happiness. Hopefully someday you will understand that money isn't everything.
