    Mine is dull cadmium. Its old but does not look like it was ever shiny. Closer to a satin finish.

    Not arguing at all, but having never been to or documented/observed these caps at the factory or a dealership when the cars were new, my limited experience & documentation suggests something different…

    I’m not saying the pictured item isn’t for a Daytona, but is it yours and/or specifically removed from one ?
    Or do you have photos of some in any documented original, unrestored cars ?
