Perhaps like the Italian celebration this will only be revealed to their ten best customers after they have paid five grand..........
Thanks for posting that! I was going to go for a little drive to Swindon tomorrow to chat about servicing, so see if they mention anything! Good job I work from home and am "free" next Tuesday!!
For those around Swindon area, after Blenheim Palace apparently they are going on a little tour, with a few laps of Castle Coombe before returning to the dealership. As I'm fairly close by, I might have to pop up to Castle Coombe at some stage and see what can be seen!
We were with the Meridian Modena group on Wednesday this week. Met at Goodwood circuit before heading to the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth for lunch. A superb day, meeting some terrific people during the day. What was especially nice though was the evening after at the dealership launching/unveiling the 812 Superfast. What a car!.....but what a night! Meridien Modena did themselves proud. Met a few of the lovely folks we'd spoken to on the anniversary run & ended up drinking the complimentary champagne until late that evening evening before watching the 812 & LaFerrari Aperta being loaded into the trucks just before midnight.....only to see a 2nd LaF Aperta on the same truck!! In all, a pair of invitations that my wife & I were very pleased we accepted!
I've been invited along for the Carrs Exeter section, but as I'm currently in a Bentley, ferrari-less for the first time in 15 years, I feel like I'm letting the side down, plus, my max driving range is about 20 miles even in the armchairs of the Bentley due to this cancer, so unless they are planning lots of stops, I'd be a burden to everyone! Wish all who take part the best fun, I did a lot of stints of the 2007 version (where 599 was the star, along with a few enzos etc and police liveried 612) and had a great time meeting lots of interesting owners and their fabulous cars
Went to the Carrs event in Plymouth today it was well attended there were over 60 cars turned up, and the weather was great too! Regards Michael Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Apparently London may be tomorrow from noon not Thursday from 11..... https://twitter.com/hrowenferrari
I was invited to join the parade in Windsor Great Park last Saturday - it was a brilliant day, really well organised by Maranello. Here are a couple of pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Grant This is the only one I have - not very good quality I'm afraid, as taken on a mobile phone through a rainy windscreen! There are some more photos on the official website: Ferrari 70th Anniversary in UK - Windsor Best Robert Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few poor iPhone shots from a very grey day-a shame after all the effort put into it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The crowds were amazing in every town we went to. The people must have been 10-20 deep down some of the streets. The route was certainly well publicised and Ferrari must be very pleased.
Awesome coverage guys, I loved my days with these events..... miss the people that you meet like crazy, some fantastic personalities and a lot of fun
Meanwhile in Colchester https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m77y9-Dt8Zg 5th car through looks good, the "really old ferrari"
