DES, I was working odd hours this week and got bored, so I get up a new track. That is about half of the pieces I have, but I don't have room to make it bigger. Saturns get a half lap head start....
Mule, What are in the five unopened HW boxes? I can't tell from here. Joe - certainly not Post#2; the board voodoo strikes again -
Hi Joe V Sounds like a great competition, winner gets the track? Looks like 2x 333SP's at the bottom, then possibly an F512M, F40 and it could be another F40. What's my score?
Good eye Ian! I was thinking 333SPs for the bottom two because of the white wheels of course, but the other three...no idea. Nice one.
LMAO...! Holy Crap, Mule...! THAT'S AWESOME...!!! & that's only half the track you have...? LOL, that's craaaaaaazy...! What cars do you have that you're racing on there...? i love the collection of stuff in the background; just makes the picture that must better...
That's a Ferrari and a Jag on the track. Last year I bought a lot of cars from Ebay, so I have about 30 F1 cars (and a Dodge Viper). Though some are very old and look neat but don't move well. I guess I could extend the track with more overpasses, but I like to keep things flat. Seems the cars go faster. I'll shoot a picture of the cars tonight.
Awesome... How much time do you spend "playing"...? Do you have someone you play with or do you play with yourself...? (Um...)
Ian, You are 100% on the HW boxes. There are six more of them behind that and 10 more in the corner. Can you guess what the white car is at the bottom of the pile in the corner? I am dodging DES's question...
Tell DES your partner/partners can be seen in OTHER ITALIAN in the post: "Very Stunning Italian Exotic. I Wonder how it rides." The white one is the H/W Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa with 'Race Dirt', but I cannot see the other 5 that make up the set. All 6 behind the F40 etc. pile are the 288 GTO that Joe V has been looking for.
I'm pretty much speechless. Note to self: scratch Mule off the Christmas list Main Entry: hoard Pronunciation: 'hOrd, 'hord Function: noun Etymology: Middle English hord, from Old English; akin to Gothic huzd treasure, Old English hydan to hide Date: before 12th century : a supply or fund stored up and often hidden away, usually by men of extremely low character, see picture of "Mule"
The white one is not the 250 TR. I don't have any of the "raced" HW set. 308, 308QV, Daytona, F1 in the pile. Ian, that is so cruel. Joe, I only have one 288 GTO...so put me back on the Christmas list. I need some model cars.
Is it a 250 SWB from somebody? Since it isn't a pile of 6 x 288GTO, I feel better Mule. In the spirit of reconciliation, here's what I'm getting for both you and DES. No need to thank me.
If that is my gift, then I will tell you about the unopened crate of 288 GTO's in my basement. I am giving half to DES. Actually, I have been keeping an eye out, and if i find one, I'll let you know. $1000, though....
At that price I'll take ten! Actually Mule, I ordered one from Muscara in Italy - should have it in a couple of weeks. Also ordered the black F50 and the silver 355C while I was at it. Thanks though.
In an Alex Trebek voice, "Can you be more specific?" LOL, i can't... Tell DES your partner/partners can be seen in OTHER ITALIAN in the post: "Very Stunning Italian Exotic. I Wonder how it rides." & All 6 behind the F40 etc. pile are the 288 GTO that Joe V has been looking for. = ROTFLMAO...!!! I'm pretty much speechless. LMAO...! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO...!!! Joe, you're getting a 288GTO and a black F50...? SWEET...! Please post pictures upon receipt...
Wow Mule - That is awesome - I like them all lined up on the track ready to race! If I lived near you, I would be over there far too much racing you.
If you raced me, I would give you the Williams, then protest that your tires were out of spec... FORZA!
