Rained all day Saturday with "Gale Force Winds" in the weather forecast. Rained until Noon Sunday and the sun is finally coming out now at 3PM (as I type this) with the show ending at 4. I stayed inside with many of our fellow visiting F-Chatters but wondered if anyone ventured onto the field (or parking lot). Did we miss anything beside cold wet feet and chapped lips?

You missed nothing if you didn't attend Saturday, imo. We went anyway since we had the 2-day tickets anyway. But there were whole swaths of field empty. Most cars present were either from title sponsors or featured marquee car already in place. Even the boats had tarps on them. Sunday on the other hand was a much more classic Concours today and the rain stayed until later than originally thought but turned out nice in the end.

We went out on Sunday for a few hours. Overall it was a bust. Seemed like the weather scared away a good bit of the field!

Good to see some cool cars out. We felt guilty...not. it was like a North Eastern winter storm. Well almost. At least it was nice when we loaded and thanks to our good friends we had a place to stay warm and dry. Two tough back to back years for the HHIC.
