I've them (they came with the car) in the 488 Spider and they look great but the create a lot of unwanted creaking and noises. ;)

My car also has them. Ordered from the factory that way. I really like the carbon fiber door panels and was one of the items I wanted when I was looking for a car. I'm a carbon fiber junkie, so I really like them. I have had my door panels off because I wanted to polish them. Fairly simple procedure and won;t take that long to do yourself provided you are mechanically inclined.....

    Thanks guys for the feedback
So a couple said it squeaks and I’m allergic to squeaks,
Everyone has that issue. Is there any solution. I don’t want squeaking in my car for sure.

During installation, you accidentily may ruin some little things if you have not done this before …

It then suddenly becomes not nice anymore

So I didn’t buy this yet, I’m just making sure that if I do buy it than I will not have any noises.

You shouldn't have any noises. The panels are held in place by "push pins". I have had mine off and reinstalled and no squeaks/noises.

I want these carbon panels too...im wondering who makes the best aftermarket ones. If you look at anything OEM carbon fiber parts, the 1x1 weaves are alllllll straight and perfectly lined up, the aftermarket ones are all go sideways and never aligned perfectly. Anyways, wondering if we can get some close shots of them?

The panels simply pull off. It is best to start at the rear of the panel and gently pry it away from the door. You can put some painters tape around the panel just to protect the leather. The arm rest comes off with the center panel. You will need to reinstall it on the carbon fiber piece.

BUT FIRST - You need to remove the door handle. If I remember correctly, there is a screw in the bottom of the "cup" just below the pull lever. The silver portion will pull up. Then there is one more fastener behind the door handle holding the center panel to the door itself (at least I think so, but could have confused this with my 430!). You will then need to disconnect the actual door cable (slips off of pull lever). If I have covered everything, the door panel can then be pried away. Just take your time.

No, those can't be removed as they are glued into place (if I recall correctly). The carbon fiber panel should have those on it.

BTW - The passenger side panel will need to have the grab handle removed prior to removing the panel. The leather cover is simply pried off. You can grasp it with your fingers and pull straight out. This will expose the two fasteners holding the metal portion of the handle to the door.
