Did Ferrari ever make a four door car??

No.

There was the Pinin show car by Pininfarina. The Maserati QPort might count, but it was never badged as a Ferrari and now Maser is a completely separate entity.

So, production run of 1 four-door.

Sultan of Brunei's were coachbuilt.

 

What about the 4 door 456 for Brunei - there's more than one and I think they were built by Pininfarina so that may count as production !

 

Do you have a pic of one? I've only seen 2 door 456.

 

There was a 4 door Opel that looked just like a 400i in 1986..iircc... does that count

The Pinin was a concept rendered by Pininfarina, not Ferrari. Ferrari refused to acknowledge it because he said no Ferrari would ever have four doors. It wasn't until years later that the Pinin got a Ferrari serial number.

The estate and shooting brake 456s that have four doors were done for the Sultan of Brunei and, as far as I know, were not done by Ferrari (rather by Pininfarina).

 

And there have been a few concept models or drawings done over the years.

Even with four doors , the above red one is sex on wheels!

 

note the 599-esque flying buttresses...and the California-esque rear fender!
