diff shims

I´m just rebuilding again a gearbox and let laser cutted the shims left and right side.I grind them to the size now I need. if someone needs those shims ( any size is available with the accuracy of +/-0,01 mm, so not only those mentioned in the parts catalog ) please send me a PM with the sizes you need. each set ( so 1 shim left and 1 shim right ) is 90,- € plus shipping plus VAT if shipping within europe. but this offer is only valid until end of september as long as the grinding machine is adjusted for those shims. later it will get more expensive

I also will send only the blanks when you grind by yourself. the thickness for the left side is about 4 mm, the right side about 3 mm. price then for 1 set is 40,- €

I was always upset about those prices for the shims, so much difference between the single thickniss.
meanwhile I have here a complete set for both sides so I always can test and check what thickness I need without waiting and ordering again. same as with the valve shims.
I think those shims also matching the 365 BB and 512 BB and BBi, not only testarossa

 

I know meanwhile that the left side shim is the same as in the dana 60 axle, so there is only a need for the right side shim. this with an exact size would be 65,- € and the blank in about 3 mm is 35,- €
but the price for the exact size is only valid until end of september
thanks to those who already ordered. problem are the shipping costs. still checking.

you bought some blanks and 1 with a size 0,05 mm less than what you need, but I think this shim will match fine - if you meassured right?
