Does anyone ever upgrade your exhaust system in California?

    I am planning to upgrade my 2012 California with Larini exhaust system - either only the X-pipe or both X-pipe and cat converter … don’t know what the sound will be ….this is in-expensive compared to other brand like FabSpeed, Capristo, Tubi or Novitec.

    I have a silly question. My side mirror (right side) when on reversed it’s tilting UP instead of DOWN. I did not know how this happened. I may be touched something since before that it’s alway tilting down when on reverse….. anyone know how to fix this? Or at least disable that tilting when on reverse gear?

    Last two Larini systems I saw, were full of cracks in the welds. No thanks.

    There are few systems that will come close to Capristo at that price, so that's a good way to go.

    Note that if ypu start messing with cats, get some 200 cell HJS cats. I believe Fabspeed offers a set.

    Cars with test piles stink, that's just hiw it is. Don't ever let an exhaust vendor or manufacture tell you otherwise, because that's a blatant lie. The high flow 200 cell cats give a sound close to test pipes, and changing cats gives a significant increase in sound, more than anything else.

    So I'd do the following in your case.

    Fabspeed 200 cdll HJS cats
    Cakristo X
    Capristo back box
    Capristo remote valve controller
    Capristo obd wizard

    That's a system that is of high quality and will sound great.

    Thanks for the info. I just ordered x pipe and will see if the sound will be little bit better and little bit louder … who know since this is an experiment for me and not much cost adding to it… worth to try in my opinion.

    I don’t change the cat since in CO, it will create a big issue when you try to get emission test.

    Cannot wait to have that x pipe arrives soon….
