Hi - Hoping someone can help as my notes are obviously not up t o standard I have 12 each of these dome heads from top of the engine area. They are both different from the main cam cover nuts and you will note that the ones on the right have higher domes and more pointed. Would anyone know, or could possibly have a look at theirs to see where the peaked ones might come from? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The shorter ones are original, the others are aftermarket. You can get aftermarket s/s dome nuts that have a taller dome again (and look more like the original nuts). Check to make sure that aftermarket dome nuts don't bottom out on the studs internally. Regards WM
Thanks Bill. I did wonder they they might have use different ones. I actually have 3 types of the ones on the left, different nut lengths.
