My local gas station doesn't carry 94 octane anymore, Is 93 octane at one station any better than another?

    Hey Zan,
What the heck do you need 94 for? What's the compression ratio on a Diablo anyway?

    10:1, I don't think I would see a diff between 93 & 94, I just liked using Sunoco 94 in my ferrari.
Is there a diff between one company and another?, Sunoco vs. Texaco vs. mobil etc.

Steven, I'll bring the 328 cover

Unfortunately Sunoco does not carry 94 Ultra anymore. I do think there is a real difference between gas brands. Some people swear by Mobil, but usually go where is convenient and has a clean setup. I do not think you will find much difference in the additives used by different companies.

Hey - he's just trying to spank us even more with that big 'ol V12. 420.3 RW HP from a TT porsche to beat... Maybe that 94 Octane'll give you an extra .X of an HP!

    See you there.

    steven - 50 days shouldn't be a problem.

you might jostle the car up good to mix it up. as long as you filled the gas tank to the tippy-top (to minimize the air in there) it's probably totally cool. i've stored cars for 90 days with the gas tank full and never had any sort of problem.

    Doody,

Alas, it is about 1/2 full so may drive it to a nearby station on Saturday to fill it up. i wanted them to do corner weighing/ride height/etc with 1.2 tank and 170 lbs driver. The seats are pretty much dead center so do not THINK the change out will cause a major disruption.

We'll chat more on this during Dyno Day as ALL help is ALWAYS appreciated.

This is totally unrelated to the quality of gasoline, but I prefer Citco because they do not buy oil from the middle east.
