Normally when EAG comes into scrutiny on here or anywhere, multiple new accounts come in to try and silence any dissenting opinions rather aggressively. I don't believe mrp_e is one of them as they generally get banned shortly after and never make it past 25 posts. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
that's not true, we always allow businesses to defend themselves whether sponsors or not. I've told Art to defend himself all he wants. in the early days with Art and then when NGSC came on we had problems with their spamming. NGSC has been gone a few years and EAG still has a valid paid sponsorship through April 3rd, 2024.
If they want to defend themselves, please do so. I feel like open discourse is important. However make it clear who you are. On multiple platforms, including this one, I have seen questionable new accounts pop up and try to silence anyone with a dissenting opinion any time EAG is brought into question. At least until the new CEO stepped in, then it stopped. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think a new business can be born out of this...I can see it now. Clayton Thom and Art. It would be tremendous.
Can’t comment on all the alleged business practices but very curious about the negative comments on the conversion itself. I have a 360 with EAG conversion done 2 years ago and it works great. My car has about 5,000 miles on it and less than 1,000 on the conversion but so far it is performing well. What is the issue with the product (aside from personalities)?
Mine has been flawless, zero issues. However, I would rather pay more than have done business with Art. People like that don’t deserve to win in life. It sounds like it has finally sorted itself out though.
One of the more painful stories I've heard from the shops I've worked with is the struggle to source parts and finish jobs in a timely fashion. I heard of a story when a Gallardo took "too long" and the owner sued the shop because he was "emabarrased among his friends his lambo was taking so long." I think in that one the customer won the case. Brutal. As all exotic car shops know, some parts are available. Some parts, sometimes, are not. Not all customers understand, nor care. They lay it all at the shop's feet. Another challenge is credit card payments. Specifically, when goods or services are delivered, the customer receives it, and then requests their credit card to back-charge the business. Taking money back. Adding yet another obstacle to a business's cashflow. This stuff happens, it's painful for all side. But for the side that incurs costs to deliver, it's pretty tragic.
It is a big mess. According to Art he knows the people who stole all his stuff. He must have these peoples address. How difficult for the police to track them when he has all their information.I think there is more to this.
Interesting… so are you saying that they couldn’t get parts, for a kit that they make, and even if some of the oem parts they “couldn’t get” for the first batch of cars, EAG then took on more cars and substantial deposits without the parts to complete any of them? doesn’t seem like a very sustainable business model to me. also, if you’re referencing the chargeback I initiated against EAG, that was because they refused to return my old parts, which my cardholder sided with me because of the numerous texts the dummy sent me telling me he was not returning my parts and there was nothing I could do about it. For everyone else, we can no safely assume mrp_e is a shill for Art and EAG to have made that reference to the card dispute.
I am literally encouraging anyone with evidence that Art did something with these current business partners to warrant the shop theft to broadcast it without hesitation. Or, get it to the authorities. And I don't mean ... "he doesn't have a drivers license" or "he wouldn't take my dare" or "he didn't call me back or "he got arrested in 2020 whatever." I've been here over twenty years, we're here to meet up, talk, share, .... if you don't like it, I don't take it personally.
I mean…….. Is there no limit to resolving matters in a timely fashion? People can understand normal delays, but from what has been posted here by actual customers the bounds of “normal” where breached numerous times.
It is wild to watch. I will say that I have zero relationships with EAG or “horse in the race”, but Art is talking like “everything has been fine, and we just want to go back to business how it was” like it was some masterpiece before he was “robbed”. However, as a casual observer; whether you had a good experience or not with EAG - you are living in complete denial if you think the company was not having some serious problems - there are no shortage of people with horror stories - it’s a crazy situation to watch unfold. Even his story about the license today (obviously small fry in the scheme of things) is super weird (whether true or not - it’s odd!) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Ha! In many ways he has done an amazing job at overcoming everything that happened in that era (very different company now to back then), but every time you see a video about one of their cars there is 1 or 2 comments about how much of a “scammer he is” ha! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

The issue is a doctor S kit costs less than $14k and can be done within a couple days by yourself with zero drama. Shrugs. You do the math.
And it's gone. Makes you wonder how much they are policing the comments. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Using bolted together stock for a shifter housing instead of a one piece design like the other conversions and oem is a big one. While that part doesn't get that much stress, the only reason I could see doing it is because it is cheaper and easier to do. I have heard of a few cases of the gear selectors failing and being replaced by Dr. S selectors because according to the tech in the video i saw, they work better. Imo the gate doesn't look very good compared to OEM. It instantly gives the car away. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
you seem like the kind of guy that takes pleasure in others misery...why would he leave a comment like that on anyways?
