    They are now exiting their train business too. They will become all business jet with the Learjet, Challenger and Global/Global Express lines.

    This is all a result of decades of the Beaudoin family's mismanagement. They were originally able to buy Canadair as the proper political solution when the Canadian government decided to sell.

    Although the company was able to great a very good aircraft in the C Series they had to fall on the sword because of the development costs.

    The Global 7500 looks to be a winner for the company and the Challenger 350 continues to do well but unless there is a major upturn in the smaller size end of the market Learjet will remain a problem.

    It will be interesting to see over the next 5-10 years if Bombardier remains independent or if someone buys them. There was lots of talk before the announced sale of the train division if Textron/Cessna would make the purchase - allegedly there were serious talks.

    On the corporate aircraft side, their product support is considered by many as these than great.
