I had a real great time at 50th celebrations. Here is my photos of the Espadas I saw: 9 Espadas at the Giro, 3 at Panicarola, 1 at the factory museo, 2 + 1 prototype at Dosso museo. I had the pleasure to cruise in 9168 (great presence in yellow, power steering is great to have), thanks to the owner. 8282 has same color combination as Bob's car, it was great talking to the owner while his car was being judged. Glass roof (not original) looks great on 8116. 8502 has the rare VIP interior, nice! Enjoy. It was a pleasure meeting you Philippe. A very different looking interior, 8502. The pic below i did find on the web, i think the pic is taken when it still was in White. http://images.wheeler.nl/s1230634589/1620737-53-2-2.jpg
Philippe, Great documention of the Espadas in attendance! BTW, we had someone with the same color as my car join VLG this week. No information as yet though.
Phillipe; I envy your trip . Hopefully you can take your car to Pocono in a month as well. Gary Espada 8384
Hi everyone, I just came accross this: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozm8AO3QwW4]Un Élève assidu 1975 Lamborghini espada only - YouTube[/ame] I hope it is not a repost. It is very interesting as the Espada was used quite extensively during this movie, and even sometimes in quite a brutal way.
Love the part where the maid? spits on the Iso Grifo. Not something I'd do as they're both gorgeous cars. Fun to see them actually used. Hey that color looks familiar no? Thanks for posting this. ps No wonder all of these cars were worn out when I finally got one. No Way To Treat A Lady ...
I bought the S3 from Spain. Now i have some questions! Does anybody know where is a good strong S3 engine for sale? Eurospares has a refurbished engine for sale for approx 26k€, is it okay? Who built the carpets for the Espada, especially S3? Marazzi? Where is the best adress to buy/build new ones so original as possible? I don´t have the original ones in my car so i have no master, except pics in the internet. Was the dashboard from every S3 in black alcantara? Best Regards Leo
I love the Alitalia press release, especially the inaccuracies. Makes you wonder what else they got wrong back then...

I had a good look at this car in Bologna. I suspect it's condition is even better than when first delivered. It was quite spectatular. I would not be surprised about the price. I'd imagine the owner was approached, had no intention of selling, the buyer was a collector without an Espada and had to pay that amount to acquire it.
