I was so pissed with this auction. The auction house, Osenat, never attempted to make contact with me when the car was up. They said they called but never did. It went for US26k, which many thought was too much.
You got on the roof for that shot? Looks good. Interesting to see the entire wiper assembly is flipped I guess because it somehow favours the driver's side? Horns left blacked out too! But not the red rubber hoses. A vin #?
There were at least 4 original front grills mesh patterns. I have some Material left for the Wellengitter Version in case of need in Berlin-Mitte. Best Regards, ME

Looks very nice! Mine has the light colored dash top which looks very pretty but the glare is quite palpable. Is this original, mostly or?
These cars varied so much during the production run. My radio is in the dash in front of the passenger, terribly convenient. What's that red looking light or button to the left and up from the radio? Brake Failure? I have identical interior colors except for the top of the dash Except the piping on the carpets in mine is dark.
The radio in 8588 doesn't look to be in the most convenient of places either! What is the colour of that car? Looks a bit dark to be Rosso Granada but it could be the light.
It is possible that this car was delivered without a radio due to the Autosonic Universal Electronic Antenna on the roof. I know of several Silhouettes delivered with a clear screen [ie without the integral aerial] later fitted with this aerial, either on the roof section or the rear panel. Gary, what's you shift boot look like? Mine has a leather ring sewn into the top, no rubber grommet. It's a loose fitting affair. It looks like the entire thing was cut out of a 17" diameter circle. Any photos?
