Mine looks more like a 400GT bag but not the same either - cheap canvas bag on mine and no plastic. My screwdriver is missing so maybe you are correct. I've thrown away quite a few cheap screwdrivers that look like that one so would it be that hard to find? The longer wood handled one is a decent one with the metal shank extending all the way to the top. I'll add the 400gt style one when I find it but here's a SIII photo. Here's how my tool bag looks and some of my tools are closer to these. This one is not complete. http://www.400gt.com/photos/Accessories/400gt_tools.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not a terrible great example but a decent starting point for a good car. I wouldn't complain about that sale price. I think they're getting dragged up by everything else. At the moment it looks cheap for an exotic looking v12 Lamborghini. Shame about the interior job but then it probably got done when the car was worth $20K. Interesting to see the differences that begin to appear as the SII becomes the SIII.

Espadas did far better last year though the examples involved then were far superior to these. It's such a small market and condition it would seem matters a hell of a lot for these cars. That makes sense given the relatively low ceiling in value for this car compared to a Miura, Countach, 350 & 400GT. Even though the historically lowly models of Lamborghinis are all up I'm not sure I'd say they were "on-fire" especially when comparing to several other Italian and English vintage cars of a similar nature. I just think the market is nuts and these cars snuck out of the insane asylum while everyone is distracted by the bigger stuff or should that be snuck into?
Hello, The Espada has electric windows at the doors. In case the mechanism is not working properly there is the possibility to open a small plastic cover in the door, insert a tool (kind of screw driver) and open or close the window manually. I would like to own this tool (the "screw driver"). May someone help me finding information about it like: Is the tool available? Is there a rebuild? Is there some workaround (use some other tool)? How does the tool loke like (photo)? I appreciate any help. Thanks a lot.
Hello Oliver, Thanks for the fast replay. I am not sure if this is the tool to open and close the electric windows manually. On the photo on top of the page 176 there is a complete toolset and the tool second on the right side, next to the hammer, maybe also the window opener. This looks different. Anyhow can help? Thanks
That's not the correct tool. Mine is in the glove box of my car at a remote garage so I can't easily post a photo. I suggest you take a trip over to the Yahoo Groups Vintage Lamborghini website - VLG and I bet there are some photos of it in one of the tool kits. If not then there are plenty of Espada owners to ask there as well as here. Best of luck. Bob S.
Hi all ! The correct emergency window handle for the Lamborghini powered windows equipped with FISPA regulators (cable system) is the one mentionned by Drolafs (...next to the hammer...). This tool exists either in steel or in plastic version . Emergency manual system used on many European cars of the period. My Miura S is equipped this way. Perhaps the tool shown by Olivier is correct for the early Jarama powered windows ? or eventually also for its special headlights eyelids ?... Here are a few picts. of the FISPA system (+ 2 pages from the early Jarama parts list for comparison) Bruno Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Bruno, that's correct, my tool is n° 27 & 37, both same parts for Jarama I didn't know there was a difference with Miura & Espada, always good to learn something new & very interesting !
Of course making the things so you would never need such a tool would have been a whole lot better ... Espada windows are so GD slow too.
Speaking of windows, are there certain lubrication points on the window assembly to help it move? What type of lube? Both mine work........slow as per usual. Passenger slows to a stop, to which I immediately let off the switch for a few seconds (so not to burn it out), then continue in increments.
Peter, you know where to go for that info. There are discussion threads and diagrams for the Espada. But I've polled several Espada owners about this (I'm pretty sure the Jarama is no different) as well as testing an Espada at Will DeGroots that they'd just serviced and installed relays for the windows. They're all slow but yours does sound more problematic. I think relays are a good idea and I hope I get around to that one day.

Did anyone catch the streaming live auction today? That pretty blue SII Espada from Norway sold for something like $124k plus fees. 1971 Lamborghini Espada by Bertone | London 2014 | RM AUCTIONS It was pushed onto the stage and there was mention of some minor mechanical work that had to yet be done to it. It looked like a very nice car. Anyone know it?
