Wow thats a realy pimped out front.It looks like an old Ford Granada. Why do people do like that??A cheap sollution.
Good morning all; I am located just outside of Toronto(brampton Ontario) and have located an S2 for sale and have since gotten Gary bobileff to do a PIP on it and the engine , bakes and tranny check out ok . I have budgeted for all other items and with his help could have this on the road in little time . Before I make the leap however I would like to talk on the phone if possible with a local ( canada or even better Ontario !) Espada owner to learn as much as possible . VLG is just one discussion group among thousands supported by Yahoo. You need to establish a user ID in Yahoo with a password. Then, you can ask to join a group. I think ?VLG is set-up for automatic membership approval so you should become a member almost instantly. If you haven't established your user ID in Yahoo you will get nowhere. Bob S.
Let us know when you've got it working for you. BTW, you said that you are in the Toronto area and that Gary did a PPI for you so did he travel to Toronto for this? As people have suggested, once you get on VLG then if you supply the chassis # someone may know something about the car in question. You can also check the lamborghiniregistry dot com. Every little bit helps.
You might try VLG on Yahoo as well. I believe all of the items you're seeking are still available from the factory, eurospares, lambostuff dot com and other places. Bob S.
Thanx ! I've found out all excepted the badges. But am not sure the Granada one on Ebay is a goodl deal at its reserve price... The one from Toronto is cheaper but a SIII... And more cost to manage...
I have an Espada series III auto. It is one of I believe 7 RHD cars made and one of 34 in total autos? Usuafull if someone could confirm? I know it is a chrysler torquflite 3. Is it the A727 box? A 6RH or 37RH?? Does anyone know?? Can they be upgraded to the torqueflite 4? If so would that be a A518 and 46RH?? Has anyone upgraded these? does it make much difference? Any other upgrade ooptions for the auto?
hey there Staatsof The car Im looking at is in USA close to Gary B so I paid him to get the car and do A PIP . I have also emailed the gent in Quebec (Phillipe)who is the moderator of this thread and he indicated he could do some research on the serial number . My problem is 2 fold . As I try and get the full story prior to purchase I am also trying to sell a 2007Saturn sky trubo redline Ive had for 2 years . Extremely fun and very fast but not much provenance LOL. I do like the research and hunt part of this as much as the Marque so i wil be patient. Regards Gary
Gents By way the S3 reported from toronto is actually in Ottawa 5 hours northwest of toronto but he has it listed on a toronto website to attract more potential byers . I have recd lots of photos of the car and the gent who represents the owner tells me the engine was rebuilt but has not started in three years as owners widow has left it since his passing. its a series 3 with over 300000 kms and some rust . I might consider it if it was a 2 but i am not looking for a 3 I have photos of it i just recd on weekend if someone would like them just send me your email address and i will forward. Regards Gary
