thanks for your thoughts. you might be right. not many logic reasons, to use wider tires. maybe shorter breakway, or curve stability. but that is not my point, because i dont use it as a racecar. aquaplaning is not on my list, because i never drive, when raining. car would get wet inside immediately. wider tires is more a optical thing. i think, on the rear wheels, it would look cool...thats all.
I would like to see what it looks like. At some point I plan on an extra set of Miura rear wheels for the rear of my Jarama with some fatties mounted on them. I like the look. There is just way too much wheelwell on the Jarama. However, the Espada wheelwell is shaped different. Maybe a step up or two on the tire size will give a nice full look on the correct wheel. But always have a spare set when messing around with wheels/tires
Peter, look at this rear wheels & tires on the exJarama #10.266 of my friend Jack in Belgium... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
See, the wheelwell/wheel arch can handle that. 9x15? with the 255? 2nd photo: Even the front wheels sit far inside.
as you can notice the suspension has been raised to its maximum level to leave room for the tire to not touch the fender edge, not sure this will fit on an Espada rear fender...
i finaly found the video with the 255/60 on espada. wheels are original s3,(notS1/2) but that doesnt matter. tires are not the c12 pirellis, but the size is 255/60. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting. Too bad there isn't an engine note that is as realistic as the 3D model of the car. I sure wish the steering effort on my S1 Espada was as effortless! And why did they have to make the doors squeak like that?? Still, it's good that the Espada is getting some attention.
Good afternoon Espada owners. I am a prospective buyer of a yellow SIII auto that has been for sale here in Australia for over a year now. I would be ever so grateful if anyone who recognises this car could tell me anything at all about it. All I know thus far is it is a UK market car originally which landed in Perth, WA, Australia at some point. My rather curious (sometimes read suspicious) nature has me wondering why it is being sold by the owner at a local dealership as opposed to at one of our reputable auction houses. But perhaps that doesn't mean much. The car presents extremely well in photos, but I am on the other side of the country and do not unfortunately have the time to go and inspect it myself. Further still, there are so far in my search no specialists able to conduct a PPI for me...so as it stands, I may have to let this one go. But nonetheless, below is the webpage listing for the car. Please take a look on desktop if you will, as the high-res photos really show the car's condition. The VIN is reportedly W1NVAEM7680019536. https://www.zamani.com.au/cars/zamani/1976-Lamborghini-Espada--1002 Many thanks
My records report : VIN is #9536 Bertone body 1050 engine number #41374 Giallo fly/testa di moro factory RHD but none info about delivery market
beautiful in yellow! I also have an automatic for sale and love the rare factor of it. Best of luck with the purchase.

Pirelli are making the 255/60VR15 CN12 again. To my knowledge it was just for the rear of a Muira SV and fitted to a couple of years of Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The 255/60VR15 CN12 is currently out of stock, and i am not expecting another batch this year, as all the factories are on catch up after the factory shut downs over ther last couple of years. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/pirelli-collezione/cinturato-cn12.html we do still have some of the 215/70VR15 Cinturato CN12, which i beleiver were OE on the later Espada series 3 that had the wider wheels and power steering. Up to that my understanding is that the cars on 7" rims fitted 205VR15 Cinturato CN72 which Pirelli have been good enough to re make.
