The rear window grill seems to be made up of bars rather than fins. Here is my factory grill. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi! You are observant. When I bought the Espada first time almost 20 years ago some previous owner had removed the bars, either to modernize the car or make the glass cleaning much easier. The surrounding was still there with the holes for the fins. I wanted the car back to its original look but couldn't get enough good pics to see what it should look like and there are no more of these early Espadas in Sweden. So I cut some alu pipes and had them filled in the ends and until now no one has complained. But if you could give me a very close pic with some measurements maybe I could get them right again. Regards! Lel
Lel, If you will send me a PM with your email address I will make accurate measured drawings and get them to you.
Yes!It sucks bigtime to have a Clasic Car there. Also all the mails form different people who want to buy with a a Cashiers Cheque.Pretty Tiersome. Regards/Patrik
Hello guys, would like to introduce myself with some pictures of my Espada S3 1974. Some othe guys posted earlier a picture of the car without my permission Been in Sweden since 1981, imported from Switzerland, one ownerfamily in Sweden before me. I am Using it a couple of days every week travelling to work. My children 5 and 6 really enjoy riding with me. The car has once been to the factory for some motorwork (1983) and some minor repairs after it been hit by a bull (!) in the countryside. Runs OK, not a showcar, not a bush, some minor rustdamage but nothing I am sleepless over. Some minor details not working but non of it is important. I NEVER sell ! great color! and nice wife to do not get upset for the pics posted...we are all enthuxiasts and it happens to post pics of other guy's cars
Welcome Ulf, i like youre attitude about youre car, better to use the car than to have an perfect garage queen that if it will get used it will break down. Ok, i know there are some garage queens that gets some maintenance work while sleeping in the garage, but you get my point.
Shortly, once engine is done, 8394 will go in for a windows out, bare metal respray . Just wondering about the origins of the espada nose badge. Ordered a new old stock and recieved one in sealed lambo parts bag WITHOUT the 2 pins showing and three threaded pieces hanging below. Much nicer frankly! Also Many Espadas have a peice of black plastic under the badge to elevate to the heavens (closer to Feruccio i guess ) but I have on occasion seen some cars without this peice ? Is this one of those "sometimes they did sometimes they didn't" things or if I left it off would the lambo demigods banish me from all that is sacred? Gary
Around five or six years ago, a dermatologist in the Bay Area (CA), had a real nice S2 for sale. It was unusual with white exterior with dark brown interior. He only wanted in the low 20's for the car. He was selling the car by himself. He also claimed to own several Lamborghini supercars - previously. At the time, I was looking for a different toy. Does anyone know of the car, or where it is located today ? I like the S1 and the kewl interior.
You won't be banished...as I've that black support/autel many times but not systemtically on all Espada... Islero and Jarama don't have this. Looking in Espada & Jarama parts book, the crest is referred as "16 * Stemma Lamborghini", the drawing just show the crest without support.
if there is any possibility to trace the car from the beginning I think that the original reg. number is in my documentation
Here is, just ask for : #9282 is recorded as 949th produced - verde mett./verde scuro delivered on 22nd January 1974 to Foitek and sold to Khokadad on 4th October 1974
I have right know written to Foitek to hear if they have any more documentation. Yes It´s a long shoot, but why not, took me 5 minutes
Do You know anything about "Khokadad". According to my googlesearch he is a sportsman, 3 years old in 1974
Olivier, since I hold the swiss registry, might it be possible that you pass me the infos on all the swiss cars you have details?
