Ferraris/Exotics/Classics in the Inland Empire Sunday morning meet: Dates/Times: The next meet will be on Sunday, May 18th, 2014, 8:00 a.m.. For the succeeding months, check for the announcements in this thread; it will generally be on the second Sunday of each month (except for this April since Damian's C&C and the Long Beach G.P. are on April 13th). Starting time is 8:00 a.m. Where: Legends restaurant and adjoining parking lot at the South/East corner of Carnelian and Baseline in Rancho Cucamonga. (address for your GPS: 8775 Baseline Rd. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 (909) 941-9555). Legends is a great place to eat with a full breakfast menu. You won't need to get up earlier to fix breakfast at home or stop and buy it before you come to the event. The food is great and I have not heard of anyone being disappointed with any food item served at a Legends restaurant. More detailed info: Location: Legends Parking lot at the South/East corner of Baseline and Carnelian. There is a McDonalds on the corner and Legends is just East of the McDonalds. Entering from Baseline, I would recommend the eastern most driveway off of Baseline and then keeping to my right towards the parking area. From Carnelian, I would recommend the southern most driveway and circling around the southern side of the business complex then north to the parking area. (See map with highlites.) Directions: From the 210 Freeway, take the CARNELIAN off-ramp SOUTH to BASELINE. From the 10 Freeway, take the VINEYARD off-ramp NORTH to BASELINE (NOTE: Vineyard turns into Carnelian after Foothill Blvd.) Hope to see everyone there. Thank you Mark for putting up our "perma" thread April is a pretty busy for month, so we are skipping April but rallying up again in May. We will likely organize another leisurely cruise, perhaps to the beach or to Arrowhead. For those itching to go to car stuff this weekend, I am organizing a local group of cars to go to Festival of Speed on April 6, Sunday. We will first meet at the Toys R US off Campus Exit at 9 am and then roll off at 9:30 to Cal Speedway. Thread is here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/california-nevada-southern-sponsored-fast-cars-ltd/436757-california-festival-speed-april-4-6-a.html
Won't be able to make the May date guys, I'll be on an Alaskan cruise with my wife. See everyone in June. Henry
Henry, will miss ya, see ya at the next. Let's see some interesting cars May 18! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm sure you guys are aware you've chosen the same date (18th) as FCA Pasadena Concourse so F-car participation might be concentrated there. Timo
The plan is to meet at Legends and then travel over to Pasadena from there. That would be the "actvity" for the day. The Concorso Ferrari in Old Pasadena begins at 10:00 a.m. so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Wow Eddie, the chirping of crickets is all I can hear when I click on this thread. Where is everyone? Let's hear from you guys!!! In any event, we will be there. Are you bringing your newest acquisition?? Even if you don't, you need to post a pic on this thread. See ya Sunday morning.
Unfortunately Pasadena Ferrari Concourse only allows Ferraris to display so I will be bringing the 16M. Let's go people! Sent from my 16M
Aw Mark, you must read my review and pics here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=445010 And here exhausts here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=447098 Sent from my 16M
If planning to display a car at the show you may want to check with FCA/SW for details. IIRC, cars on display (judged or not) may have to be pre-registered, placed in by no later than 9 a.m. and may not be allowed to leave before 2 or 3 p.m. Timo
Yes just found that out...I may just observe so that car won't be stuck there 5-6 hours. Either way it should be a fun show! Sent from my 16M
Is anyone from the I.E. displaying their Ferrari at the Pasadena Concourse? Need a head count as some of us displaying may need to leave a bit earlier.
Sorry fellas. My wife is about to deliver in the next couple weeks so been tied up some. I will get together with Mark and we will solidify a future date. We're all itching to get out! Sent from my 16M
