does the same apply for a car?
buy your car in Canada (or US), and relocate or travel to US (or Canada), and car has a warranty...
you saying the dealer won't honor the warranty?

I'm not a watch expert, so I googled. Some folks say it's covered, some not...

Found an interesting site on Rolex warranties. Apparently, from 2016 forward, warranties aren't transferable. You buy a one week old Rolex with a 5 year warranty...or so you thought...

That was last updated in November. I wonder what people’s experiences have been since then.

I bought my three Rollie’s from an AD new. But I wonder what happens to a buyer if I sold one,

Nonsense. Rolex WILL honor the warranty as long as it’s in the correct persons name and has been registered by the AD.

If anyone wants one, my AD has both a date and a non. I'm happy to pick one or the other up for you @msrp.

Yeah, figured that was a slim to none proposition, but you gotta play to win, right?

I asked to be on that "list" when I picked up my Sub warranty card at my AD. He leveled with me that they get a few a year, and the owners decide who gets the next one. Now that I've got 8 registered purchases there, who knows? Didn't cost a blessed centime to throw my hat in the ring...

I always ask too. I had purchased a dozen Rolexes over the years from an AD that was my "in" for anything tough to get. Unfortunately they closed a few years ago so all of that relationship building doesn't help me now. Unfortunate as I'd actually wear a ceramic Daytona as opposed to flipping it for a few bucks.

    Good luck in the hunt!
