    Gp - must join ya next time. I’ve done cota w edge in my old z06. Was super green with instructor barking instructions in one ear and viper club of Chicago wiping out all around me!


    That 456 is very refined and clean looking.

    The instructor couldn't get over how neutral the handling is. Enter too hot? It just slides sideways until it scrubs off enough speed, then you are still pointed in the right direction.

    The 360 will not be so easy. :)

    Here's my 2016 Cota outing in the old c63....... with some home brew tracks ;)

    Loved the C63 507 ed.. great brakes, great acceleration..... but oh so heavy and small street tires..... no bueno.



    any my 2015 Cota outing in the C5 Z06....... great bang for the buck car.... you can be on track for <$20K........




    and just some home brew tracks........ for good measure..... my other passion.... wanna be rock star :)

    Tech question gents - while driving 2x in the past 4 mo's I've had the throttle hang @ 5K rpm.... this is generally after aggressively accel in 1st , 2nd, 3rd..... then car hangs @ 5k if I push the clutch pedal in........ I immediately kill the ignition, and restart, and idle is normal. There is no floor matt issue, and I've check mech throttle linkage, there is no grabbing.

    I suspect it is either:.... the drive by wire throttle pedal (pot, or connector), or one of the throttle bodies is acting up.

    Is this a common issues?

    I'll try cleaning all the drive-by-wire connectors.

    When I used to play with amg's.. you could hook up a computer and have the throttle body sweep closed to full open and check for errors. I presume this is a dealer check?.. thx.

    I know mine is a separate issue, but you never know...

    I have an F1 transmission but had a similar issue with the throttle feeling like it was stuck with a spirited acceleration.
    This was something I noticed after I changed wheels, so mine is likely related to the tire front/rear ratios being a little off, so I turn off my ASR and never have the issue.

    Never hurts to try and turn off the ASR, at least you can eliminate that off the list. ;)

    Getting code: p1123. I've got a better code reader on order so I can diag both banks. Suspect MAS, but will trouble shoot more.

    So update - cleaned the mass air meters with some CRC spray, turned off battery for 10 min.
    No codes so far.

    New brake pads on order, as they are 50%.

    Just read your entire thread. I just put a deposit down on a 2004 360 Modena 6speed with 40k miles- but its had everything sorted out including new clutch and belts, so i hope i'm not dissapointed...i'm a Porsche guy so used to driven trouble free cars..

    I get stuff like that all the time.corvettes pipe me audis and other cars pull up and try to race me people starring while at light and trying to talk to me and i only drive a 360 imagine if it was a 488.

    G pepper is a local 360 guy too... perhaps I can host a cars and coffee at my place as long as you are ok with an 80lb german shepherd.dog.... I've got a decent mancave 3 bay shop with tools beverages etc... for simple things. Jeff

    11.3.18 update - 5 more key on, key off cycles..... and 3 drives.... and no CEL. Car pulls much harder up top as well, but perhaps it's our great DA weather now.
