You bleed the fluid from the clutch bleed block which is on the RHS of the gearbox.
Run the fluid into a container and make sure the reservoir stays topped up. Don't just run it back into the reservoir.
If it is the original bleed block be careful not to crack it by over-tightening the bleed nipple.

HE do a replacement part which is better made.

It is only a matter if time before it works. Good to know they are working on it.

People need to submit a bug report for stuff that needs fixing.

The e-diff bleed is not a part of the F1 transmission software. The E-diff has its own separate software with bleed function.

I have the same car (2000 360 Modena), and it shows that the first version of the gearbox is installed, but then it won't let me connect to it. This XDiag software is good if you have nothing else, but it really doesn't work too well on these specialized cars.

Only the 360 has had issues, for other models is great, key programming, proxy alignments, new airbag module initialization, tpms calibration, odometer corrections, plus all the actuations test that can be performed on almost every module. Besides the 360 which I been bugging the developers about, it works great. As soon as they get a fixes update, I'll let you know to test on the 360.

Just to keep adding to this thread.....

I’ve been using xdiag on my car over the last couple of months for some clutch work.
Car is a 2000 Modena with a CFC231 based CS TCU part number 196986

I’ve used it to take lots of readings on clutch and actuator positions along with bleeding the clutch after a release bearing change.
So far very good and I couldn’t have done any of the work without it.

With your apparent knowledge about the system you need to seek professional help. Get your car to someone who has the tools and experience to work on the F1.

This is likely true. Is there a sensor issue? Who knows but the little bit of information you provided doesn't give any way to determine that. I stand with my first post, get professional help. You don't know enough, and no one on this board can tell without a readout from an SD or similar tool. Even then, it may take some testing to diagnose the issue.

Check the pressure of the pump when hot you would need a Leonardo scanner to find and check the pump relay could be over heating also

Just checking if anyone has heard anything further on updates to adjust PIS using decimals? Spring is around the corner here and was hoping to be able to try and fine tune the PIS value when I get the car back out.

I am looking at this topic often as my car skipped in to neutral twice when shifting 1st to 2nd a few weeks ago. It was a very cold
day and the car wasn't quite warmed up. I have driven about 100 miles since and it has worked
fine. I know there is a day that i will have to deal with f1 issue, and i never have owned a car
that required me to go to a mechanic to resolve a problem. (I am 59 and never hired a mechanic
in my life) So a functional, affordable diagnostic tool for the f1 would be invaluable for me
to keep my car on the road.

Here's what I can add: I have a 2000 360 F1, and I just upgraded the computer to a 2002 model (don't have the PN handy). The xdiag tool still would not read the transmission computer property (it would identify it, but it wouldn't communicate with it). I just sent the computer to Eric in France to have it reflashed with the Challenge CS programing. Not the xdiag tool will read and communicate with it. I have not checked to see if it fixed the decimal problem yet. One step at a time!

    thx

Definately curious if you find the decimal working and if so what version of the software you have. As far as I know up through 10.26 doesn't work unless you were able to get a newer version than that.
