Hi, I have a red LHD f12 (triple paint) and it is just a dream come true. I did add a full n largo exhaust though and that has transformed it, the sound is now like an F1 car if the valve is open, and v quiet when not. All I can say, is expect a huge amount of positive attention, enjoy it. People photographing themselves with it all the time, which is great, what a Ferrari is for. £150k is very good, if VAT has been paid on it, as I would never let mine go below £175k. LHD is fine I find in the UK, (my second time) feels safe to be away from oncoming cars :), overtaking on wide roads a breeze.

For more than a year I followed on Autoscout 24 the F12's for sale in continental Europe and at that time there were a considerable number of adverted cars which were not sold during the period of one year. The majority of these cars were the ones with more millage and an inferior spec but I remember a particular one with a top spec, a nice exterior color, a reasonable price, but with a very ugly red and white interior. The price of this particular F12 with the funny interior was lowered twice during the period of one year and after I bought my F12 and stopped the regular searches on Autoscout the car continued there. What I noticed was that the top spec F12's were sold faster than the rest and the Grigios in particular disappeared sooner than the rest of the colors.
When I bought my F12 I never thought about future depreciation because that's something inevitable out of our control. Since future value is important to you the price is the factor which can make a substantial difference. When a seller asks for a price of a particular Ferrari is know there is always a margin of negotiation which can be bigger or smaller according with the degree of difficulty of selling that car. Finding out up to where the seller will be able to go in terms of price is an art referred to on all the good buyer's manuals and takes time and patience but can be very rewarding.

Yes it definitely sounds like most F12 buyers prefer the 'safer' option when it comes to colours of interior and exterior... it does make sense though as it appeals to the majority of peoples tastes and preferences. Re-sale is of course in the back of their minds too.. Maybe the second car is a better option for this reason alone!

I will use all my negotiating skills to try and get a deal done..

Hopefully one day soon I will be a proud F12 owner!

I do honestly appreciate your time with all the honest and in depth responses you have given, it's helped me so much!
