I have a 2017 F12 with Kline catless downpipes with an OEM H pipe mid section and a Capristo valved rear section. I also just installed the DME Stage 2 tune.

The car sounds outstanding at the high end RPM range, however at the low and mid range does NOT have the high end F1 sound that I love. I'm thinking it could be because I don't have an Xpipe.

Do you think an Xpipe will help improve the sound and make it higher tone?

Everyone's take is different. I have slightly different setup than you. We share the catless experience. I have Ryft race pipe however I do have the x-pipe, and unlike you I kept the stock muffler with Capristo valve controller. Check my thread out and watch the videos and you be the judge. As I'm sure you know however video never does the car justice.

Feel free to peruse my channel there's the most recent rip granted it's upper RPMs....

That sounds fantastic @Nosferatu ! I just checked my setup and realized that I actually have the entire rear Capristo muffler and valve control setup with the Kline catless downpipes and stock H mid section pipe. So I do think an X Pipe will help the sound pitch as yours has a much higher pitch than mine.

Since you already have the sport cats, an X pipe will help immensely. I’m not sure the trade off is worth it if you have stock cats.

@Lagunae92 To be clear, I have Kline downpipes with NO CATS and a Capristo rear muffler section w/ valve control. I am using the OEM H mid pipe and I have some low to mid range drone. So it sounds like if I add a Kline X Pipe then maybe I can improve the pitch and eliminate some of that drone? Based on the feedback above, it seems that the X PIPE will help my cause...

My apologies, meant to look back at your first note about it. Yes, I think the X pipe will help immensely.
