A rough 95% of F12 owners would never feel the difference in 265 vs 275 front tires, certainly not in race mode or below.

Forgive my ignorance, but aren't you forced to upgrade the tire size if you go with a wider rim/wheel?

Thats a genuine question, not statement. You want to change to the TDF wheel (which is wider) and keep the same exact tire you had on the stock wheel before?

Not if the tyre is made to fit said rim width. As Terry posted earlier, the OE front F12 B tyres fit rims ranging from 8.5" to 10" in width. If the front rims were to be 10.5" wide, you'd have to change tyres - but they are not. Ferrari also uses and recommends the F12 B K2 spec MPSS tyres on the TdF as a more streetable alternative to the Pirelli PZero Corsa.

Have a read of the article I linked to- it further explains what DK308 is saying. Its a worth while read, even if the first time some of it is challenging.

Thanks for posting the link. I found the tread width section the most informative. Also interesting is how the contact patch stays the same with a wider tire but the shape changes and reducing the pressure will then increase contact patch.

I just purchased TDF wheels to put on my F12. So the bottom line is:
We Can transfer F12 TIRES straight to a TDF wheel. no problem?
